Owen and we're all very confused, Peter's tower is up but there's something up with the rotator, Sasha's satellite installation and the tech situation out east, including an Internet connection that is 6. The problem with setting up, Doug has 'pulled a Solbu', adding RAM to an old computer is a significant improvement to performance, setting Alexa to "Computer" can be a problem if you're a computer geek, MarshmanGF got a laptop upgrade and MarshMan will use the old one as a hypervisor, power flashes at the studio with a bad UPS are not good, more info about the contractor, Peter's going to play it safe and finish setting up his antenna (following more trouble), Solbu's feeling a lot better, and bp9 is trying to figure out how to unbrick his PineTime. Solbu is super eager to tell us about his new Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headset, and they're really great! Somehow, we get talking about sandwiches, and Ken Jennings (of Jeopardy fame) knows exactly what we're talking about. Peter needs to stay off high towers, and we're thankful he survived what sounds like a very bad accident. bp9 chose Xubuntu for his Pinebook Pro, and Python 2.7 is dead, but app developers don't want to admit it--and it's causing problems. bp9 is working on converting his software management to git. Doug welcomed his third granddaughter into the world this week, and got himself a new Roku too! And finally: Naked didgeridoo crazies; what are they, and why are Australians on about it at 2am? Joining Robbie Ferguson this week are Solbu, bp9, Doug Townsend and Peter Lewis.

Robbie accidentally discovered of a [possible] new contractor for the Category5 studio, and ameriDroid has a solution to the conduit problem. Ladders take two people and watch out if you're a teacher, because we have all the best pranks. Electric cars aren't subject to expansion foam destruction, but we'll find a way. And Solbu warns not to put peas in your nose. MarshMan had to hack a way to mount the VIM3 with its fancy new riser, bp9 may have a solution to his Pinetime cable problem, and Peter is going to fix his Ham radio aerial. MarshMan is working hard to document NEMS Linux WMI support for monitoring Windows-based network assets. bp9 has received his Pinebook Pro, and it's glorious: He's completely pimped it out the way he wants, with XFCE and xearth. Robbie received a new Raspberry Pi High Quality camera, along with the two available lenses, plus a Raspberry Pi 4 8 GB with an Argon ONE case. Can MikroTik bond multiple network connections? Sure, but Robbie has only ever used failover. Peter has figured out how to control sine waves using a Raspberry Pi, a few buttons, and a custom circuit. Joining Robbie Ferguson this week are bp9, Marshman, and Peter Lewis.

Solbu turns 47 on Wednesday, and Robbie lays down the law about personal questions. bp9 has something en-route. Could it be a Pinebook Pro? Or a PinePhone? Thinking of Pinebook Pro gets us talking about ANSI vs. ISO, and Robbie thinks he's figured out what ANSI stands for: American, not stupid ISO. bp9 struggles to get a good connection between the PineTime and Raspberry Pi, and shows us how tiny the solder joints are. This week's Tech TV is delayed as Robbie sets out to improve the video quality of the Pinebook Pro screen. bp9 has a PineTime, and in its current layout it may cause him to be detained when traveling. MarshMan decided to buzz his hair off and Robbie is offended. Sasha's got some long work days ahead, but at least the sun is early to rise.
