- Robbie's computer went wonky during this section of the broadcast. Here's what happened (what you can't see): Robbie had set up his Super-key to open the Applications menu in Ubuntu. This broke a ton of his other hotkeys from compiz-fusion. So after he loaded the virtual machine, some things started going really wrong. Because the hotkeys were not working, Robbie couldn't restore the system to functional. Even CTRL-ALT-Backspace did not restart X. No hotkeys would work. Then, both CTRL and ALT were closing any open windows; so any chance to restore was out of the question. A simple reboot of the system reverted everything, as Robbie was running in a protected environment (did not save settings using super-user). Robbie's cordless trackball mouse also would not reconnect following the reboot--by some amazing fluke, the batteries died. This was definitely the worst on-air system issue to date. Quick on his feet, Robbie took the mouse off the Stream Server and ran synergy to control both systems from one mouse.

- Robbie shows off his Toshiba T2200SX - the original "tiny" laptop.
Links: Notes: The current version of Ultimate Boot CD does in fact include three different antivirus products: F-Prot for DOS, McAfee and BugHunter During Episode 49, a viewer commented that during Episode 35 I stated there are no motherboards with both AGP and PCIe, but that ASRock does in fact manufacture such a motherboard. This is not confirmed, but it is noted none the less. One person has commented on this article. 1. UntitledClifford Haynes, RegisteredThis is just what I have been looking for.
