Links: Notes: When I'm zoomed in and pushed for time, I don't always catch everything. The proper VirtualBox kernel modules I should install are in fact virtualbox-ose-guest-modules-2.6.24-16-generic as Howefield said. Although I used the ccsm command to launch CompizConfig Settings Manager in Ubuntu Hardy Heron, I found it also added "Advanced Desktop Effect Settings" to the System->Preferences menu; so you can just click that launcher to bring up ccsm.
