This week we welcome Emir Aboulhosn, CEO and Founder of Otono, the company behind ZIP SIM. Imagine a cellular service that you can activate anonymously at any time, use for a set amount of time with unlimited service, and then discard. Security through anonymity is the best way to use a cell phone when traveling. We'll also unlock our Netgear MBR1516 Turbo Hub to allow us to use any provider's service on our Bell-locked LTE modem.

This week, we wanted to check out ZIP SIM - a great product from Otono Networks that lets you anonymously activate a short-term SIM card in the USA with unlimited talk and text plus a decent supply of 4G LTE Internet service that switches automatically to slower service (rather than shutting off) if you go over the specified limit. Then, when your time is up, you can either refill or toss the SIM card... bringing super-spy-like anonymity to the masses! Emir Aboulhosn is the founder and CEO of the company, and he joins us this week to tell us some of the greater details about the outstanding service.

Following the interview, we dove right into our long-anticipated feature on how to unlock the Netgear MBR1516 LTE Turbo Hub modem! We'll take you through the steps: from the simple stuff like inserting your SIM card, to obtaining the unlock code from CellCorner.com and setting up your new APN to get you online. Learn the process so you can unlock virtually any device. While we did find some brand-spiffy-new devices aren't yet supported, our process should work for your devices too--so get a look at CellCorner.com.
