Photo Touchups in Photoshop and GIMP

Robbie and Christa take a look at making photos look better using Photoshop, and then see if the free GNU Image Manipulation Program can do the same. Also featuring Hillary Rumball.

    • Using the Levels tool to improve the lightness and darkness of a photograph.
    • Creating a marquee using the Lasso tool.
    • Using Photoshop's Sponge tool to make eyes really stand out in a photo.
    • Removing wrinkles using the Clone tool.
    • Using GIMP's Healing tool to remove blemishes seamlessly.
    • One of the effects a wedding photographer does is a soft focus filter, which we could emulate using software and will evalutate on a later show.
