  • {play 36:47}Viewer Question: My girlfriend and I are web page developers, and we love your series on PHP programming. We have a script for our online radio station which allows listeners to make a request which is meant to send an email to the DJ, but it is not working. Can you help?
  • Looking at the code provided by our viewer and assessing the security and why it doesn't work for the user.
  • Some serious security exploits in the file provided by our viewer. (Note: watching this after the fact I realize the file output is a SEVERE security risk. You're outputting to .php files, and using a register_globals environment. What that means is, I could do ?content=;exec('rm -rf ~'); from my browser and wipe out your home folder.)
  • Viewer Comment: The form itself was working fine, but it was only sending the email to the listener, but not the DJ.
  • The dangers of PHP register_global and why it was removed (see my note above).
  • Figuring out why this PHP script only mails to the sender, but not the recipient.
  • Viewer Question: Is it possible to download recorded videos from a Bell PVR to an iPad first-gen?
