(07:05:58 PM) Garbee: Ha, yea right... Shelved until they re-write it and rename it.
(07:05:58 PM) ***agamotto chuckles
(07:06:01 PM) Drumstick: I did!!
(07:06:17 PM) Drumstick: ...nominated that is...
(07:06:22 PM) agamotto: Garbee- Or until I pester people daily about it
(07:06:24 PM) _Jot_: the sad thing was, that question of Jot, I actually send that in, seeing what they would say
(07:06:29 PM) agamotto: RobbieF- Mine is on the way!
(07:06:37 PM) maxwell6307: can i nominate without a twitter account

(07:08:40 PM) invinciblemutant: has the show reminder been sent out today
(07:08:50 PM) Garbee: ajamison5579, My zone.
(07:08:52 PM) robgor: agamotto no problem for me here
(07:08:56 PM) _Jot_: wow! That geekman loos just like RobbieF!
(07:08:57 PM) Rony left the room (quit: Ping timeout: 258 seconds).
(07:09:04 PM) _Jot_: looks*
(07:09:06 PM) RachelXu: i know jot uncanny right
(07:09:07 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, DON'T OPEN THAT!
(07:09:09 PM) ajamison5579: garbee yues
(07:09:11 PM) ajamison5579: yes
(07:09:20 PM) smittysmit [4ce24b3c@gateway/web/freenode/ip.76.226.75.60] entered the room.
(07:09:21 PM) Garbee: Thank you RachelXu
(07:09:21 PM) agamotto: If it has to stay in the package, there is no point in owning it
(07:09:29 PM) emiel1976: Open it and see how it looks
(07:09:48 PM) Garbee: Yea, it will be worth $.50 USD in about 20 years.
(07:10:06 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, it looks exactly like you 20 years ago!
(07:10:15 PM) ajamison5579: G. I Geek the poseable doll
(07:10:16 PM) Garbee: Actually, if you open it I think it will be worth 2 dollars in 20 years.
(07:10:20 PM) OldGuyJim: Take it to Antiques Road Show.
(07:10:26 PM) Guest_9500 [5d68bc77@gateway/web/freenode/ip.93.104.188.119] entered the room.
(07:10:31 PM) GregInTexas: I sold a lunch box on ebay for $475 US
(07:10:47 PM) agamotto: GregInTexas- ?
(07:10:59 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, I'm wondering about that geekman... can you blend it?
(07:11:08 PM) Garbee: I sold someone a stack of comics for $119.02 the other day.
(07:11:16 PM) ajamison5579: _jot_ lol
(07:11:18 PM) agamotto: _Jot_- eviiillll, eeeeviiillllll
(07:11:19 PM) GregInTexas: some things actually do gain in value
(07:11:29 PM) chrisreich: I've been sitting on a stash of original Farrah Fawcet posters since 1975. My brother says they're worth about $4 now. Big freakin' deal.
(07:11:37 PM) jaepea [6394c0e2@gateway/web/freenode/ip.99.148.192.226] entered the room.
(07:11:42 PM) GregInTexas: lol
(07:11:43 PM) Drumstick: I'm hoping my Tachmini goes up.... :)
(07:12:04 PM) Garbee: that is pronounced " Gadget Wisdom Guru ".
(07:12:08 PM) ajamison5579: RobbieF you need to get Blendtec to do a guest appearance
(07:12:08 PM) jaepea: hi all
(07:12:18 PM) Garbee: LIQUID COOLING
(07:12:22 PM) agamotto: Over the last few years, I have managed to sell some gold for nearly 4 times what I paid for it.
(07:12:28 PM) tordeu: +1 on liquid!
(07:12:31 PM) _Jot_: liquid cooling still needs fans
(07:12:32 PM) Garbee: Actually, liquid nitro would be best.
(07:12:41 PM) tordeu: No, it does not!
(07:12:46 PM) tordeu: Not necessarily
(07:12:51 PM) emiel1976: liquid needs also fans.
(07:13:01 PM) _Jot_: it needs a radiator, and stuff to radiate the heat away, for which they use fans
(07:13:05 PM) Garbee: emiel1976, That is why you put the radiator in the other room.
(07:13:10 PM) agamotto: liquid antifreeze versions can usually be fanless
(07:13:14 PM) tordeu: I can cool mine without the fans and it's still cooler than with just the fans
(07:13:14 PM) ajamison5579: tordeu the radiator needs a fan
(07:13:27 PM) chrisreich: more large fans will be quieter than fewer small ones, for a given air flow.
(07:13:33 PM) tordeu: My radiator works pretty well even without the fan running
(07:13:38 PM) emiel1976: Garbee Good idee
(07:13:58 PM) invinciblegeek [~androirc@92.40.254.97.threembb.co.uk] entered the room.
(07:14:07 PM) Garbee: My Big Boy (200mm on the Antec 900) has decent sound output, for not that much better cooling than the 3 120mm fans.
(07:14:09 PM) agamotto: sub-audible vibrations
(07:14:16 PM) ajamison5579: tordeu won't that wear it out faster
(07:14:18 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, that fan you used in the server is really quiet too, if you actually used the parts you need like washers etc
(07:14:26 PM) GoodGuy: I have an Antec 900 case also
(07:14:35 PM) emiel1976: My pc is quit. just the rigt fans and keep everything clean
(07:14:40 PM) tordeu: why should that wear it out?
(07:14:55 PM) invinciblegeek: Hi everyone
(07:15:09 PM) RachelXu: hello :)
(07:15:10 PM) chrisreich: hi invinciblegeek
(07:15:11 PM) agamotto: Corsair makes some sealed liquid system, but I know it uses a 120mm fan somewhere on the back/side of the case.
(07:15:12 PM) OldGuyJim: Hello
(07:15:27 PM) invinciblegeek: I am on my android phone ...invinciblemutant here
(07:15:28 PM) _Jot_: hi
(07:15:29 PM) ajamison5579: toredeu because the radiator is not being cooled (note i have not owned a liquid cooling system so asking from an inquisitive stand point)
(07:15:38 PM) GregInTexas: the heat needs to be exhausted somehow ...
(07:15:41 PM) _Jot_: you're such a geek, invinciblegeek
(07:15:47 PM) pyrosrock [734084ee@gateway/web/freenode/ip.115.64.132.238] entered the room.
(07:15:49 PM) jaepea: how is all
(07:15:57 PM) Oberon_ [~oberon@S0106bcaec5c3cd4a.ed.shawcable.net] entered the room.
(07:16:00 PM) chrisreich: DRINK - "ambiONT"
(07:16:04 PM) invinciblegeek: Lol
(07:16:07 PM) Oberon_: hey all!
(07:16:21 PM) OldGuyJim: Hey!
(07:16:28 PM) agamotto: Fans usually don't come on with a liquid system until you run a heavy load, i.e. gaming or render-farming
(07:16:31 PM) invinciblegeek: In my bed...just lazy to have my keyboard in bed
(07:16:32 PM) Linius84 [55f27564@gateway/web/freenode/ip.85.242.117.100] entered the room.
(07:16:38 PM) emiel1976: Ad extra fans and set them in a lower rpm and you have less noice
(07:16:39 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, would that Cpu-fan you are using be quieter with or without washers?
(07:16:43 PM) agamotto: invinciblegeek- whatever works
(07:16:48 PM) Linius84: hi everybody
(07:16:58 PM) _Jot_: hi people
(07:17:00 PM) invinciblegeek: Ll
(07:17:09 PM) emiel1976: hi jot
(07:17:11 PM) tordeu: well, it depends on how hot the water gets, of course and what components you want to cool. When I had my 8800GTX in the loop, I had to use a fan. But warm water is a not a problem for the radiator.
(07:17:14 PM) SammySez: I have tried every external fan I can get my hands on and I cannot get this laptop to settle down
(07:17:36 PM) smittysmit: Zalman has been cooling my CPU for a few years
(07:17:38 PM) _Jot_: SammySez, it is really quiet if you turn it off though
(07:17:56 PM) Garbee: +1 to Synergy being tricky.
(07:17:58 PM) SammySez: _Jot_ never thought of that. I will try that right now.
(07:18:00 PM) ajamison5579: is the coolant in liquid cooling conductive? I ask because if it isn't then it leaking should not kill a machine seeing as they have machine submerged in special fluid
(07:18:03 PM) OldGuyJim: If the XP machine is a laptop, it very probably is the palm rest.
(07:18:09 PM) SammySez left the room ("Leaving from sunny Planet Mercury").
(07:18:18 PM) SammySez [~SammySez@38.109.25.246] entered the room.
(07:18:25 PM) pyrosrock: ok just woke up, saw RobbieF twitter and jumped no for the first time in ages... who is RachelXu?
(07:18:26 PM) SammySez: you're right
(07:18:33 PM) SammySez: it WAS quieter ;)
(07:18:34 PM) Garbee: Hello pyrosrock
(07:18:41 PM) _Jot_: ajamison5579, it shouldn't be, that's why you have to buy stuff for it and not just dump water in it, and it evaporates so you do have to replenish it
(07:18:43 PM) Linius84: Mario vs Koppa
(07:18:52 PM) agamotto: I wonder... now that vapor deposition can be used to 'waterproof' a laptop, could you just use a Peltier-effect cooler, since condensation would no longer affect the device?
(07:18:52 PM) emiel1976: SammySez clean the laptop inside and exept that it makes more noice. Moste laptops make more noice than desktop pc's
(07:19:01 PM) invinciblegeek: No show reminder today right ?
(07:19:15 PM) agamotto: pyrosrock- artist/co-host/bon-vivant
(07:19:17 PM) pyrosrock: Morning Garbee
(07:19:29 PM) invinciblegeek: I usually get a reminder an hour before the show
(07:19:32 PM) _Jot_: invinciblegeek, Robbie was playing with his phone and his twitter and such, so I'm not sure, but not a lot
(07:19:49 PM) SammySez: I think it may be a BIOS issue. I have temp sensors on everything and the warmest it gets is 150*(F)
(07:20:07 PM) Garbee: Drupal is also a nice CMS>
(07:20:08 PM) SammySez: usually right around 130-135*(F) is normal
(07:20:17 PM) ajamison5579: 900 man hours
(07:20:20 PM) ajamison5579: +
(07:20:24 PM) Garbee: 5 weeks for me RobbieF
(07:20:28 PM) Garbee: 4 for the main Beta.
(07:20:36 PM) agamotto: Sounds complicated
(07:20:56 PM) SammySez: RachelX: turn down your cell phone :)
(07:20:57 PM) Garbee: That was *after* all of your work months beforehand.
(07:21:05 PM) agamotto: I only have a little experience with phpbb
(07:21:13 PM) pyrosrock: no RachelXu wasent invalved with new site dev coz i never herd of her b4
(07:21:14 PM) Garbee: I prefer mybb over phpbb.
(07:21:23 PM) Garbee: Tokens = awesome.
(07:21:30 PM) pyrosrock: ... i cant spell 2 day
(07:21:37 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, I heard you can put a dynamic website on paper, with some invention called a 'printer'
(07:21:38 PM) ajamison5579: Pyrosrock is Invalved a new term
(07:21:41 PM) RachelXu: Yes Im a new citizen of earth, wasnt here back in those days.
(07:21:42 PM) sovereignentity [62fc9aa4@gateway/web/freenode/ip.98.252.154.164] entered the room.
(07:21:46 PM) ajamison5579: was she fitted with a valve
(07:21:53 PM) agamotto: Garbee- If the current LUG 'owners' ever let go of the controls, I might try that
(07:22:03 PM) pyrosrock: ajamison5579 involved
(07:22:15 PM) SammySez: rolling out a new Wordpress site as we speak ;)
(07:22:17 PM) ajamison5579: pyrosrock i know joking
(07:22:41 PM) emiel1976: I stoped with Joomla because it is to slow.
(07:22:42 PM) Garbee: Just wait for some of the awesomeness coming with Category5.tv V3!
(07:22:56 PM) pyrosrock: RachelXu no i just aint been on for a long time
(07:23:00 PM) Garbee: IF setting up a new site, go with the latest version.
(07:23:07 PM) Garbee: Only use older versions for legacy reasons.
(07:23:33 PM) agamotto: Why can't these things 'read' and convert/merge stuff from older versions?
(07:23:37 PM) RachelXu: welcome back then :)
(07:23:43 PM) Garbee: Try different CMS's. Nothing 100%, but a little test of each to get your feet wet to figure out what you like. Wikipedia has a great list of CMS's.
(07:23:58 PM) Garbee: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_content_management_systems
(07:24:09 PM) OldGuyJim: RachelXu is very good at touch typing...
(07:24:22 PM) emiel1976: I am building now a Joomla site in 1.7 and it is still not as fast as what I want.
(07:24:26 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, You can keep going.
(07:24:30 PM) Oberon_: I've tried a bunch of them, but I still prefer building from the ground up by hand. :P
(07:24:38 PM) agamotto: Technobable alert in 5...4....3....
(07:24:46 PM) invinciblegeek: Hi
(07:24:48 PM) ajamison5579: lol RachelXu is the Geekyness Monitor
(07:24:49 PM) GregInTexas: I run a Jom Social site ... it's great!!!
(07:24:53 PM) Linius84: hey RobbieF, is it possible to change the position of the navigation arrows on any of the windows on Linux?
(07:24:56 PM) Garbee: emiel1976, Have you tried Drupal? The admin interface can be slow, but the user-side is pretty snappy.
(07:25:00 PM) invinciblegeek: It is my question
(07:25:07 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu is geekiness herself
(07:25:23 PM) Rony [cc0f4045@gateway/web/freenode/ip.204.15.64.69] entered the room.
(07:25:30 PM) RachelXu: hey now! :P
(07:25:31 PM) invinciblegeek: Poor xu
(07:25:42 PM) RachelXu: hey i got through it
(07:25:44 PM) RachelXu: BARELY
(07:25:44 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, if you don't believe me, you know everything about photoshop
(07:25:46 PM) pyrosrock: Linius84 position arrows?
(07:25:46 PM) agamotto: Anything will 11.10 is problematic from what I hear
(07:25:52 PM) agamotto: with, even
(07:25:59 PM) emiel1976: Garbee Yes but i don't like it. I also don't like Joomla but I build it for someone and they want Joomla.
(07:26:20 PM) invinciblemutant: the panel just blocked it
(07:26:34 PM) agamotto: Is there such a thing as a CMS 'common' format?
(07:26:39 PM) invinciblemutant: the top panel on the primary screen at the botttom has a top panel
(07:26:40 PM) Garbee: emiel1976, Have you tried Drupal 7? Most people I know stopped trying it at 6, and MAJOR changes have occured.
(07:26:50 PM) Rony: I prefer Drupal over Joomla
(07:26:50 PM) invinciblemutant: it is blocked when i have top down arrangment
(07:26:56 PM) Garbee: agamotto, What do you mean, "common" format?
(07:26:56 PM) _Jot_: agamotto, no, of course not, that would actually make sense if there was
(07:26:58 PM) Rony: I tried Joomla first and I did not get it
(07:27:06 PM) invinciblemutant: it is extended screen on top
(07:27:11 PM) invinciblemutant: just 1 xsession
(07:27:16 PM) Linius84: yeah to move them to right side of the window
(07:27:17 PM) SammySez: Rony: same here. Wordpress rules
(07:27:26 PM) Garbee: I personaly don't like CMS's with some backend admin interface. Even though Drupal's basically is, it feels more like it is all in one area.
(07:27:27 PM) emiel1976: Garbee Tried them all.
(07:27:32 PM) agamotto: Garbee- interchange so that a site doesn't have to reinvent/enter things from scratch in upgrading versisons or moving from one to the other.
(07:27:39 PM) invinciblemutant: intel
(07:27:40 PM) GregInTexas: the thing about joomla is it is focused on doing a News site ... if you are doing one, it's great, anything else in my experience is kind of a kludge
(07:27:43 PM) Rony: I am actually running drupal 6 on couple of sites
(07:27:43 PM) Garbee: emiel1976, Ok, just checking. Thanks for the response.
(07:27:52 PM) invinciblemutant: 1 output
(07:27:56 PM) invinciblemutant: 1 avg
(07:27:59 PM) invinciblemutant: laptop
(07:28:05 PM) invinciblemutant: vga
(07:28:06 PM) GregInTexas: but! JomSocial changes the site in its entirety and makes it a facebook like environment
(07:28:24 PM) Garbee: agamotto, People make scripts that can do it, like Mediawiki to Dokuwiki, but aren't 100% and can be buggy. The main reason it isn't done, manual imports are always best.
(07:28:31 PM) RachelXu: wow hes finally googling an answer
(07:28:43 PM) invinciblemutant: that the top panel just blocked windows from moving acrossing the the screen
(07:28:48 PM) Garbee: Like our change from Mediawiki to Dokuwiki for http://wiki.category5.tv ... I did it all MANUALLY since that gives us the most accurate results.
(07:28:53 PM) invinciblemutant: it is ok when arranged side by side
(07:28:59 PM) agamotto: Garbee- yech. I can't stand software that does that kind of thing.... might as well use M$ Office for it all.
(07:29:03 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, I think you were there, I don't remember, but I once asked a question that got him actually stumped, and he admitted it on air
(07:29:09 PM) invinciblemutant: yes
(07:29:17 PM) invinciblemutant: can move the mouse up down
(07:29:17 PM) RachelXu: i dont recall jot
(07:29:19 PM) emiel1976: Garbee It is not that it is not good but it is noting for me. I use it now for others because it is for them easier to update everything.
(07:29:20 PM) invinciblemutant: just not the windows
(07:29:40 PM) invinciblemutant: yes, ok for side by side
(07:29:50 PM) ajamison5579: _jot_ it happens he does not know everything but does know alot
(07:29:52 PM) invinciblemutant: not secondary on top
(07:29:52 PM) ignacio82: invinciblemutant superkey to launch and launch screen
(07:29:54 PM) pyrosrock: never had any problems with it
(07:30:07 PM) agamotto: RobbieF- i would assume it is one of the many bugs with 11.10 and the latest nVidia drivers
(07:30:16 PM) chrisreich: none of us knows everything, that's why we confer together
(07:30:19 PM) ignacio82: you should be able to configure it without editing the configuration file
(07:30:26 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, Newer Xorg's don't use xorg.conf by default.
(07:30:28 PM) ajamison5579: Agamotto he is not using nvidia
(07:30:35 PM) Garbee: IF one is there, it is used, otherwise...
(07:30:46 PM) agamotto: ajamison5579- oh... well then, I really haven't an idea
(07:30:51 PM) invinciblemutant: it is fine, it is a tough one i know
(07:30:58 PM) agamotto: ignacio82- you would think
(07:32:01 PM) OldGuyJim: Absolutely!
(07:32:23 PM) agamotto: Cyberwar in the Middle East... talk about an improvement!
(07:32:43 PM) GregInTexas: at least nobody gets blown up in a cyber war
(07:32:48 PM) agamotto: Jihadi coders instead of infantry
(07:32:53 PM) Oberon_: and give authorities a 3D version of your face, much better than the current CCTV captures have been able to do. :P
(07:33:13 PM) tordeu: so nice and shiny
(07:33:22 PM) chrisreich: 4 inches
(07:33:28 PM) agamotto: Oberon_- all you have to do to defeat most recognition systems is smile....
(07:33:39 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, stop doing that! I keep thinking I switched the mainchannel and the BSP and thinking I have to find it again
(07:33:46 PM) Oberon_: hehe. yeah, which it why you're not allowed to smile on your passport photo.
(07:33:54 PM) Garbee: Toothpicks get a use in the digital world... Typing.
(07:34:02 PM) Oberon_: is, even.
(07:34:12 PM) agamotto: Illinois 'requires' that you not smile on your ID photos... I made them waste a whole pack of film doing my ID.
(07:34:19 PM) Oberon_: lol
(07:34:25 PM) Garbee: We can develope sites on that thing.
(07:34:43 PM) agamotto: laptops for elves!
(07:34:47 PM) Linius84: wow it's really small
(07:34:55 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, the problem with SOPA is that it might be stopped, but things like PIPA are still going on, and there's still ACTA etc
(07:35:02 PM) GregInTexas: maybe for little kids
(07:35:33 PM) agamotto: _Jot_- True, but we are working on PIPA and ACTA... long, slow fight
(07:36:08 PM) Oberon_: gotta run all. :(
(07:36:13 PM) RachelXu: mmm sprout juice hehe
(07:36:15 PM) agamotto: Imagine how much faster the net would be if Netflix, Google, and Facebook went dark tomorrow....
(07:36:16 PM) _Jot_: agamotto, sure, but wether the internet is shut down by whatever-A doesn't matter, no websites is no websites etc
(07:36:16 PM) Oberon_: have a great show!
(07:36:23 PM) Garbee: DOKUWIKI!!!! Such an awesome engine.
(07:36:26 PM) RachelXu: awww bye
(07:36:26 PM) invinciblegeek: thanks robbie and floor fellow for trying on my question on my gnome3
(07:36:28 PM) _Jot_: don't run with knives Oberon_
(07:36:30 PM) Oberon_ left the room (quit: Quit: Wife aggro).
(07:36:46 PM) agamotto: _Jot_- I was speaking in terms of modifying or eliminating them
(07:36:52 PM) Garbee: Oh, invinciblegeek you are on G3!
(07:36:59 PM) Garbee: Are you using Shell or Fallback mode?
(07:37:00 PM) _Jot_: agamotto, yeah, but I mean only one has to go through
(07:37:17 PM) Garbee: Shell has some known issues with dual-monitors which they are working on to be fixed in the next release.
(07:37:18 PM) _Jot_: agamotto, and even then, in my country we already have censornet instead of internet
(07:37:22 PM) agamotto: _Jot_- True, but not while I still have a phone and ink.
(07:37:51 PM) invinciblegeek: When the new pogoplug device will be offered for prize draw..lol
(07:37:58 PM) emiel1976: Gimp is great :D
(07:37:59 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, doesn't do anything? It exists, that's doing something in some way
(07:38:01 PM) robgor: robbie new co-host time
(07:38:05 PM) agamotto: GIMP does many things... it just doesn't hold your hand while doing it.
(07:38:17 PM) _Jot_: 41? booohhh
(07:38:21 PM) smittysmit left the room (quit: Quit: Page closed).

(07:40:28 PM) GoodGuy: What makes RachelXu want a pickle on the screen?
(07:40:33 PM) agamotto: A Christmas Pickle?
(07:40:45 PM) _Jot_: Goodguy, why do you have to ask? It's not a gurkin, it's a pickle!
(07:40:46 PM) RachelXu: because its so deliciously random
(07:40:49 PM) Blithe55: Hi guys, this is thefirst live show I have caught!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(07:41:02 PM) GoodGuy: Why?

(07:41:08 PM) agamotto: Blithe55- Sounds like you need a catcher's mitt?
(07:41:11 PM) ***agamotto chuckles

(07:41:14 PM) darktower59: welcome Blithe!
(07:41:25 PM) Garbee: Great, another laugh attack.
(07:41:31 PM) GoodGuy: Cloud!
(07:41:31 PM) Garbee: NOONE SAID CLOUD!
(07:41:33 PM) GoodGuy: Cloud!
(07:41:34 PM) ajamison5579: there must have been a cloud floating by

(07:42:16 PM) jim_from_oz left the room (quit: Quit: http://quassel-irc.org - Chat comfortably. Anywhere.).
(07:42:27 PM) _Jot_: cats are like tribbles
(07:42:44 PM) _Jot_: cats look a bit like pickles too, if you pick them up, they go round
(07:42:45 PM) agamotto: I don't recall anything about tribbles and hairballs...
(07:42:47 PM) OldGuyJim: Ooooo...eeeee....oooooo

(07:43:41 PM) agamotto: Oddly, my dog likes catnip more than the cat
(07:43:42 PM) emiel1976: A stranger behind the door.

(07:45:55 PM) tordeu: nice placement of the 5
(07:46:41 PM) Garbee: Projection perhaps.
(07:46:46 PM) Linius84: Robbieś head coves the number 5
(07:46:56 PM) agamotto: bring the transparency to ~60%
(07:46:58 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, doesn't Photoshop have a tool that can automaticly adjust that logo for the wall?
(07:48:01 PM) Garbee: RachelXu, Thanks for being patient
(07:48:09 PM) jonathon [~jonathon@ppp-70-253-95-186.dsl.austtx.swbell.net] entered the room.

(07:49:11 PM) _Jot_: there is Rachel's deviantart site
(07:49:26 PM) _Jot_: http://speckledgoblin.deviantart.com/
(07:49:28 PM) Garbee: agamotto, I have a 16k x 16k monitor.
(07:49:33 PM) RachelXu: yes i have new mural customers, most my murals havent been posted online though. Most arent on deviantart just to protect privacy of customers dont want their rooms online
(07:49:39 PM) agamotto: Whereas, if you saved it as .gif, .png, or .jpg you lose the metadata, yes?
(07:49:58 PM) agamotto: Garbee- I don't even want to know what that would cost
(07:50:35 PM) SammySez: 1920x1600 on my laptop with a 1600x1200 external hooked up
(07:50:43 PM) RachelXu: this seems like just such a complicated way to do a simple background
(07:50:54 PM) Guest_8984 [ae109514@gateway/web/freenode/ip.174.16.149.20] entered the room.
(07:51:09 PM) Garbee: RachelXu, I love the "Sapphire" (White tiger in some shrubbury) image. Awesome job.
(07:51:15 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, it is more difficult because I brought up some more pictures than the one he had picked, so he had to do extra stuff
(07:51:19 PM) RachelXu: thanks :)
(07:51:26 PM) RachelXu: ahh so its your fault jot
(07:51:38 PM) agamotto: heheehe

(07:52:28 PM) OldGuyJim: RachelXu...not true if you use Photoshop.
(07:52:37 PM) emiel1976: did it already
(07:52:41 PM) Garbee: That was an awesome line.
(07:52:59 PM) Blithe55: Question... can you explain everything!!!!!!
(07:53:00 PM) Garbee: LAMP or MAMP?
(07:53:01 PM) OldGuyJim: Is 11.10 still buggy??
(07:53:03 PM) agamotto: Stunned by lag
(07:53:04 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, can you do that thing with the background faster in photoshop?
(07:53:08 PM) SammySez: back in the day, a "shorty" was an 8oz bottle of Budwesier
(07:53:10 PM) ajamison5579: What is the meaning of life RobbieF
(07:53:10 PM) Guest_8984: who is richard stallman

(07:53:35 PM) robgor: no
(07:53:36 PM) GoodGuy: And out almost $1000 RachelXu
(07:53:37 PM) chrisreich: too complicated, RobbieF
(07:53:42 PM) _Jot_: RobbieF, she doesn't explain things to the air, she explains them to the cloud
(07:53:44 PM) ajamison5579: She has to tell the gnomes what to do
(07:53:54 PM) agamotto: Guest_8984- Founder of the Free Software Foundation... helped create much of what makes Linux, Linux
(07:53:54 PM) RachelXu: tis my pet snake squidy :)
(07:53:54 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, When are you going to show us how to do an LFS system?
(07:54:05 PM) GoodGuy: LFS?
(07:54:06 PM) tordeu: clickrace gimp vs photoshop
(07:54:06 PM) Drumstick: RobbieF you would SMOKE her

(07:54:38 PM) ajamison5579: lol
(07:54:38 PM) u-al: How can you increase the swap file size in Ubuntu?
(07:54:51 PM) robgor: the Gimp will win just on startup
(07:54:52 PM) GoodGuy: Jail time for RachelXu -- naughty girl!
(07:54:58 PM) Linius84: why pay if you can get it for free
(07:55:08 PM) ajamison5579: Adobe showers her with free software
(07:55:12 PM) agamotto: u-al- you would have to reallocate that partition on the drive
(07:55:16 PM) GregInTexas: o ...
(07:55:17 PM) SammySez: bahahaha!! somebody's paid a visit to mushroom land earlier tonight
(07:55:26 PM) RachelXu: i dont think so drumstick

(07:55:29 PM) agamotto: SammySez- I am starting to wonder
(07:55:35 PM) Garbee: Unless you NEED some of the features of Office, go Libreoffice.
(07:55:39 PM) Drumstick: RachelXu: :)
(07:55:47 PM) u-al: yeah agamotto thought so.
(07:55:54 PM) Drumstick: RachelXu: Never argue with a woman...right?
(07:55:58 PM) OldGuyJim: I've been using Oo and Libre Office for years on Windows. Much easier to use than Office 2007-2010.
(07:56:01 PM) emiel1976: I rub Libre office, Gimp and Blender in Windows and linux
(07:56:09 PM) RachelXu: if you want to live drumstick you dont
(07:56:13 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, The next office *should* have ODT support from day 1, which they have never done before.
(07:56:13 PM) ajamison5579: If your a student you can get a ridiculously large discount on Photoshop but it will still cost 300
(07:56:16 PM) agamotto: Drumstick- No, just take them out of the argument... much easier
(07:56:20 PM) Garbee: ^^ MS Office.
(07:56:25 PM) _Jot_: RachelXu, you're so alwyays right
(07:56:32 PM) SammySez: there is a cool little package called "nautilus-image-utilities" (I think) that saved me a ton of time rotating multiple images
(07:56:33 PM) _Jot_: that's always
(07:56:36 PM) Drumstick: RachelXu: Riigghhtt...
(07:56:38 PM) Blithe55: dance
(07:56:40 PM) Blithe55: dance
(07:56:41 PM) OldGuyJim: Eric reappears.
(07:56:44 PM) Blithe55: dance
(07:56:44 PM) GoodGuy: Are they liberal on what counts as a student?
(07:56:46 PM) Garbee: RobbieF, DO a Gentoo install real fast!
