(07:12:40 PM) KC9HI: qsl
(07:12:41 PM) Dosbomber: That's what I was thinking, just wondering if anyone's ever actually done it... I'm thinking an ITX board would be a pretty decent brain for an autonomous vehicle, with a 12V battery pack (Windows OS would be disastrous with a low battery!) and sensor inputs going in through the USB. With a video and key/mouse connectors, updates would be really easy.
(07:12:51 PM) goodguy-4-Christ is now known as gg-4-Christy
(07:12:57 PM) VK7HSE: I have GNOME as the default, but E17 installed as an option! ... thinking it might just be a better way to go on my Eee PC ;)

(07:15:03 PM) GadgetWisdomGuru: Here is a question for future use: Dear Gang, I am thinking of switching hosting for my site from an unsatisfactory provider to http://www.slicehost.com/ , where I can run my own services. It would be more money, but I can accept this. But in order to run an Apache webserver, email server, and MySQL database, what sort of memory would I need? Do you think the 256mb option is sufficient? and how would I determine how much I need based on load?
(07:15:08 PM) gg-4-Christy: She is pretty easy to get along with
(07:15:08 PM) VK7HSE: RobbieF: Hillary Christy this was covered way back .... to just simply lock a desktop into a specific view...
(07:15:15 PM) Scorpio55: m0dcm You made it in here Dave

(07:18:46 PM) AspidZent: if your're going to run apache at port 80 you'll need root access...
